Can I watch?    Can you show me?

As you can imagine this is one of the most common questions that I'm asked on a daily basis, and it's a tricky question to answer without people taking my response personally or in the wrong way to that which was intended.

SAFETY & QUALITY

The most important aspect to me is SAFETY, which also goes hand in hand with QUALITY too.

If I'm constantly being distracted and my concentration broken...something will end up being forgotten, missed, not tightened up, not checked correctly and that could have an impact on the QUALITY of my work and the SAFETY of your use of the car afterwards.

If I'm distracted who takes responsibility?

If an issue was to occur.........are you going to be the person who steps forward and says?

'Sorry that will have been me, I never gave the AG a moment.  He's a Tuning Guy and whilst here I wanted to see everything he was doing and pick his brain about my classic car.

......So for 3 hours I peered over his shoulder watching everything he was doing...I asked him every question I could think of whilst he was trying to focus.

...so yes, SORRY, that's when he must lost his focus  and forgot to tighten that fuel clip, distributor clamp etc etc.  I caused that I perhaps distracted AG.'

So.....can you watch?

As an enthusiast myself, this is perhaps the most common and most difficult question to address and I do not wish to offend anyone on this topic.

The best way is answer this question is to simply say please remember I'm there to tune your classic car.

So please try to avoid letting your curiosity getting the better of you, which then distracts me doing what I'm really there to do.

....politely observe from a distance.

.... politely just ask a few questions, whilst doing your very best to allow me to concentrate & focus!!

.....and if you want to be trained how to tune your own car in future, book in with me for a training course during which we an take as long as you want to go through the tuning of your classic car.

Polite consideration is all that is required

Thank you!
